The site is open to visitors. Admission is free!
Attention visitors: Starting September 1st, only the open chairlift is in operation. A maximum of two people per chair is permitted; children under age 9 and under 1.25 meters in height must be accompanied by an adult. The closed cabin cable car is out of service until further notice.
Come experience the magic of the Hermon! Enjoy the visitors’ cable car, Virtual Reality Skyrider, and the thrilling Alpine Coaster. (Cable car and attractions are paid)
September at Mount Hermon
Sukkot (September 25 – October 3) Non-stop family fun! Featuring the cable car, Virtual Reality Skyrider, Alpine Coaster, summer tubing, karting, and free guided tours (advance registration required).
Live cameras are available for your convenience on our website.
Please note: Automated kiosks are available on-site at Mount Hermon for purchasing cable car and attraction tickets.
- The cable car and other facilities operate according to weather conditions.
- As part of an arrangement in a class-action approval request, it has been agreed that individuals using wheelchairs or with similar disabilities (as defined for the represented group) will be entitled to ride the cable car free of charge for three years, from March 4, 2025, to March 3, 2028 (full text appears in the Accessibility Statement).
- For your information – Entry with a weapon is permitted only upon presentation of a weapon license and identification card!
Summer Attractions at Hermon
Sleds that move on a rail at a speed of up to 45 km/h (28 mph). Ascent is permitted from age 3. Children up to a height of 1.45 m (4 feet 9 inches) must be accompanied by an adult. They are located on the lower level and are active all year.
A gondola cable car that ascends to the peak. Ascent is permitted for all ages. Children up to age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Up to 8 people in each gondola. Active all year.
A unique hovering ride with a video using virtual reality technology. Ascent is permitted from age 6 and a height of 1.20 m (4 feet). Children up to age 8 must be accompanied by an adult. It is located on the lower level and is active all year.
Sliding is permitted for individuals only from age 5. The Summer Tubing is active in August and on holidays.
Three-wheeled, non-motorized carting on a track of approximately 850m. Ascent is permitted from age 16 for individuals only. The carting is active in August and on holidays.
Free Guided Blooming/Flora Tours
Free Guided Tours to the Hermon Peak!
Come and get acquainted with the unique flora of the Hermon, the climate, the topography, and the view visible from the Hermon peak as part of free guided tours led by the best guides from the Society for the Protection of Nature in Israel. The tour includes observations toward the Hula Valley, Lebanon, the Golan, and Syria, and concludes with the story of the Battle for the Hermon at the battle hills, ‘The Eyes of the State.’
The tours take place every Friday and Saturday in June-July, daily in August, as well as throughout Sukkot (the holiday). Please stay updated on the exact tour dates and register for the tour date via the ticket purchase button (the tours are free of charge).
